This is what I wore on Friday 1/30, during the general strike. I worked from home, for which I do not feel bad, since my job is to make sure that New Yorkers, regardless of immigration status, get access to healthcare. I also did some virtual volunteer work for a nonprofit social justice organization.

I didn’t have to leave the house, so I wanted comfy, but not too heavy. This is a secondhand Flax top under this lovely Calm Amongst The Chaos pinafore. Because of my bunions, I do like wearing indoor shoes, and these leather Cole Haan sneakers are a godsend for all day comfort.
